Every answer traces back to a named source, so you can see where it came from before you spend any money.
Answering to readers only
No hotel, resort, tour operator or booking agent owns this guide. No government body puts money into it either. There’s nothing for sale here and no booking desk. You can read about a dhow trip or a beach hotel on these pages, but you’ll arrange it somewhere else.
Who looks after it
Adam Yong started YS Feet, the publisher of this guide, and lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He studied computer science and has spent over 20 years in software engineering and digital growth. His day-to-day work is in search, on SEO and search data. Since 2013 he has travelled with his family and their young children, and YS Feet grew out of the journal they kept of those trips.
He has three jobs on this guide. He decides which places get a page by looking at what travellers search for. He runs the system where each fact sits next to the source it came from. And he goes through every page before it is published, then once more after launch.
